Read UPD7, Adobe posted the official answer on its blog.
Share unprecedented generosity from Adobe. They decided to give out the outdated, but still full Creative Suite of the second version. Both Mac (PowerPC) and Windows versions are available.

UPD: The site is down, the keys are the same for everyone. Under the cut keys and links to software. And also a message from one of the developers saying that these keys and installers can only be used by those who already have a purchased CS2 license.

answer to which conditions these products are not yet available.
UPD4: Perhaps this step by Adobe is not a free distribution of CS2 and is only a mistake of Gizmodo and other media. As many people noticed, the keys were laid out with the words "We turn off the activation server for these products and so that you do not have problems with activating your license, we made a special version that does not require activation through the server." We will wait for the official response from Adobe. Perhaps you should refrain from using the keys received.

One of the developers in his comment in another topic on the forum says that CS2 is not distributed for free. This version of CS2 and the keys to it can be used only by those who already have a purchased license for CS2.

The official response from Adobe is something like this:
“Due to a technical failure of the activation server, CS2 and Acrobat 7 were disabled. These products were released over 7 years ago and do not work on most modern operating systems. So that our customers can use these products if necessary, we have issued a universal activation key for them. Although this may look like CS2 distribution to everyone, we did it in order to help our customers. ”

Adobe's position on this is still unclear. As for me, they said something like this - "Well, use it once you have downloaded it, we can’t do anything with it already."
