In Tajikistan, by order of the authorities, access to Facebook is partially blocked

Some Tajik providers last Sunday received orders from the local branch of the communications service to block access to Facebook.

The reason for the blocking was not indicated.

Some providers have already complied with the order, so their customers were left without access to the social network.

In general, in Tajikistan there are about 41,000 Facebook users. And the government is not the first to block access to a social network - in March there was already a similar order, as a result of which access to Facebook and several other sites was cut off for about a week.

An official representative of Facebook in Russia said that the company is still carefully studying the situation, so that later it can make an official statement.
