Disney Research Robot

Already there are robots that can throw the ball or juggle (independently). This creation from Disney Research can quite successfully throw a ball in tandem with a living person.

Both Microsoft Kinect and Xtion Pro Live from ASUS are mentioned as the technologies used.

The robot monitors the movement of a person to catch the ball and throw it back, and most often it turns out quite successfully. If the ball is not caught, the robot can shrug and look after him.

The company intends to bring interaction with people to the mind and place such robots in Disneyland.
