The last time we presented the first three tests of mobile phones. Namely: an aquarium , a pool and a sharko shower . Today we offer to see the final three tests.
Three phones have reached this stage . All of them have a serious level of protection against environmental influences, in particular, moisture:
- Sonim XP3300 Force - IP67
- Samsung Galaxy xCover S5690 - IP67
- Sony Xperia Go - IP68
Test No. 4: Centrifuge
One of the classic phrases that clients of mobile phone repair service centers utter is: “I washed my jeans, in the pocket of which lay my phone.” We could not ignore this topic in our experiment. They put the phones in a transparent centrifuge, which is very similar to a washing machine.Test No. 5: Contrast baths
Once again, we recall that special moisture-proof phones participate in the tests. True, the instructions do not mention what temperature can be water. And if it is not said, we will check the entire range: from 0 to almost 100 degrees Celsius. Maybe the water is different ...Test No. 6: Deep sea dives
In the final test, we simulate a dive of 30 meters. This can safely be called a fatal “crash test”. Neither the manufacturers, nor we, dare to speculate what will happen with mobile phones at this pressure. But this only fuels interest and curiosity.Now, to complete the picture, it remains to make an attempt to restore all the phones. And this we will do next time in intensive care .
