Nokia is preparing a budget model for Windows Phone 8

Despite the noticeable wave of negativity after the presentation of new Nokia Lumia from Nokia - first of all, from journalists of various online publications who are eager to catch the Finnish manufacturer for errors, deceit and simply misunderstandings - the company itself does not sit still and, most likely, plans to expand the new Windows Phone 8 to the masses by releasing a budget smartphone model codenamed Flame.

According to the information referenced by The Verge reviewers, Flame will be a smartphone with a 4 "-inch screen, 512 MB of RAM, a dual-core processor with a frequency of 1 GHz, a 5 MP camera and 4 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded by microSD cards.

The price of the smartphone is still unknown, but the model is positioned as a “low-end", so we can assume that the price will be comparable to budget devices on Android (it is also suggested that the price will correspond to the prices for Lumia 610 and 710). Flame should appear on store shelves in early 2013.

In addition to the budget model, Nokia is also preparing a “mid-level” device, codenamed Zeal, which will differ from Flame only in screen size - in this case, the screen diagonal will be 4.3 "inches - and with an internal memory capacity of 8 GB.

Thus, we can make a cautious conclusion that at the beginning of next year we will expect the expansion of Nokia and Windows Phone 8 at once in all price segments, which, of course, should greatly contribute to the popularization of the mobile platform in spite of the undivided reign on the Android and iOS market.
