Sleepbox sleep cabins go on sale

Almost three years ago on Habrahabr it was reported about the development of a cabin for sleeping (or just relaxing at any time of the day) Sleepbox. A portable unit with an area of 3.75 m 2 is installed at airports, train stations, shopping centers, in offices - wherever people want to relax. The cabin is equipped with a bed, ventilation system, LCD TV, WiFi, laptop sockets, phone chargers, luggage space, extendable work desk, mirror, etc.

Commentators expressed the view that it was too good to be true - and were wrong. It took two years to apply for patents in Europe, the USA and Russia, to launch production - and now everything is ready. The first experimental cabin in Moscow was put in Sheremetyevo a year agoand now Sleepbox LLC has begun accepting orders for shipment of goods.

Sleepbox is leased for a period of 15 minutes to several hours with a time payment. Payment is made through the built-in terminal that controls the box lock.

The owner of the cabin himself sets the price for renting the premises, but it is quite reasonable to count on $ 50-100 daily income, that is, the cabin will bring the owner about $ 30,000 per year. The official website says that after the order you will have to wait for the cabin to be manufactured for 2 months, and then another 2-4 weeks for delivery. The cost of the cabin is reported upon individual handling. Delivery will cost an additional 10-20% of the cost. When ordering from 100 cabins, you can enter into agreements for exclusive maintenance of Sleepbox in the agreed territory.

The Sleepbox is protected by European patent No. 001742719, Russian patent RU2010501345 and American patent (pending).
