Nvidia promises four core tablets for $ 199

Nvidia vice president Rob Csonger announced at a meeting with shareholders on May 17 that the company is preparing to introduce the Nvidia Kai platform based on Tegra 3. Technical details are still unknown. Rob Xonger promises that four-core Kai-based tablets will cost no more than the Kindle Fire with much greater performance. They will be running Android Ice Cream Sandwich. In particular, Xonger stated:

“Our strategy for Android is to make it possible to create four-core tablets running Android ICS at a price of $ 199. For this, the Kai platform is being developed. "We will present many technological innovations that can significantly reduce the power consumption of the display and use cheaper components."

Perhaps the first tablet on this platform will be the long-awaited budget tablet from Google , the release of which is expected this summer.
