The first but detailed look at the Samsung Galaxy S III [Video]

    Hello!

How long is it short, but the new flagship Samsung Galaxy S III got to Russia, and we got to it and joyfully recorded the first-look for  almost 15 minutes. But they tried to talk about most of the main chips. Let's get a look:

The gadget, claiming to be the best smartphone in the world, largely corresponds to this high bar. First of all, due to the technical characteristics: a quad-core Exinos 4412 processor with a frequency of 1.4 GHz , a huge Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280x720, 2 cameras (8 and 1.9 MP), a very large battery of 2,100 mAh,  and also a slot for MicroSD cards, which recently inserted into smartphones is somehow not fashionable. As for the case, it does not really correspond to the flagship's ambitions.

The back cover is made of not very convincing glossy plastic, similar to the one from which the first representative of the line was made -  Galaxy S. But the thickness of the "body" is not very large, especially for such a "giant of thought" - 8.6 mm . The rounded shape of the case is also quite conveniently located in the palm of a medium size.

The software shell on top of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich  has undergone significant changes for the better compared to previous Samsung smartphones: a new unlock screen, sound design, redrawn widgets and icons, as well as all sorts of smart gadgets like not turning off the screen while the user looks at it.

Sales of the gadget in Russia will begin in June and the cost of the model with 16 GB on board will amount to 30,000 rubles , which by the way is not bad compared to 32 “pieces” for the Galaxy S II a year ago.

This was our first acquaintance with the gadget. But for sure it can already be said that the Samsung Galaxy S III is, of course, not an ideal smartphone, but an apparatus that they were desperately trying to make one. Something succeeded, but something did not, but the next leap of the Korean manufacturer is evident.
