Google+ Hangouts On Air: Everyone’s Video Broadcast Channel

Google+ developers continue to work on their brainchild, adding new features, and making the social network more and more interesting for users. Now, as far as you can tell, Google+ is Google’s top priority. The other day, developers have opened to everyone "Hangouts On Air." This is a video broadcasting service that is associated with YouTube.

Hangouts On Air allows each user of a social network to open their own "TV channel", i.e. broadcast live video. Video conferencing on Google+ was immediate, but Hangouts On Air is a more advanced service than a simple conference. So, the created channel can be broadcast to an unlimited number of viewers (although there can be only 10 participants in such a video broadcast, active participants).

Google developers believe that their service is suitable for journalists, for holding webinars and conferences, for organizing round tables. It’s impossible to just launch Hangouts On Air - to start broadcasting, you need to work with both YouTube and Google+ (the accounts of these two services must be connected). When broadcasting, a video is recorded, which, after the broadcast ends, remains on YouTube and Google+.

It is worth noting that Hangouts On Air is not the newest feature of Google+, but so far this service has been available to a limited number of users. the service will be open to all for a couple of weeks.
