Jelastic on ADD-3

The first report will take place on May 11 at 11.00 (Moscow, 1st Zachatievsky Lane, Building 4, InfoSpace International Exhibition Center).
Topic of the report: "Cloud platforms for Java: how they are arranged and how they differ." The topic is now very relevant, because modern cloud platforms have gone far ahead compared to traditional hosting and offer the user automatic scaling, convenient integration with development tools, the ability to build projects in the cloud, and much more. In this report, we will look at the main solutions competing in the Java PaaS market today: Cloud Foundry, Heroku, Google App Engine, and Jelastic.
We compare them by the following criteria:
- global availability;
- the ability to choose a hosting provider;
- scaling
- virtualization layers used;
- Supported technology stack
- Session and database replication
- the ability to build a project in the cloud;
- interface;
- payment model.
We hope that this report will help you understand the advantages and disadvantages of the main players in the PaaS market.
Also, on May 11, at 5 p.m., our second report, “Jelastic Cloud Platform from the End-User Perspective: a Problem-Oriented Approach,” will be held
on this report. We will tell you only the most interesting:
- about the insides of the platform;
- What methods provide high performance and scalability;
- on mechanisms to continuously ensure load balancing within the data center;
- about the virtualization system we use and the benefits of this approach for the end user;
- about what end-user problems are available out of the box.

Of course, our guys will be happy to answer all your questions and demonstrate the operation of the Jelastic platform . Looking forward to the meeting!
