Ariel Motor Company has built the most realistic car racing simulator

Car racing is traditionally popular. Games are also popular, which are a car racing simulator, street racing simulator and other varieties of automobile "little skeins". Now many companies are creating quite realistic software racing simulators, some are also creating hardware simulators that give the feeling of being in the cabin of a racing (or ordinary) car. But the simulator created by Ariel Motor Company is probably one of the most realistic, if not the most realistic.

The TL1 system was developed in conjunction with Motion Simulation Ltd, and provides the full effect of being in the car. A high-resolution video projection with a viewing angle of 180 degrees provides a simulation of the track / road and the surrounding landscape, taking into account the most minor details. Image resolution is about 7 MP.

It is worth noting that TL1 can be used not only as a racing simulator, but also as an flight simulator, and even as a playing field for fans of shooters (especially in the first-person perspective). The position of the seat can be changed, including the way it is implemented in Formula 1 cars.

TL1 is not an experiment, it is a commercial system that will be sold. The cost of the system is about 19 thousand dollars. It is likely that such systems will be actively used by wealthy racing drivers, relevant companies, as well as equally well-off gamers.
