World after 2012
As usual, I was driving to work in a tram to work, when the tram driver announced to the loudspeaker:
“There is an accident ahead, the trams are stopped for a while.
I put on gloves and got out with all the passengers from the car. Passing cars, four foreign cars and one of domestic production, stopped to pick up people who got off the tram along the way. Those who were left to go one stop, as well as those who were in no hurry, gave up seats in cars to those in a hurry.
The remaining pedestrians briskly strode along the sidewalk along the road, bypassing deep and not very autumn puddles. But soon they were picked up by the passing motorists.
Meanwhile, drivers, participants in an accident blocking the trams, quickly sketched and signed a collision diagram. The tram driver and conductor volunteered to sign the paper as witnesses and left their passport details and contact numbers for both motorists.
In less than ten minutes, the movement was restored.
The November light rain continued to drizzle, and most of the passengers traveling with me were already taking off their outer clothing in their comfortable offices.
