Mikogo for Linux

On Habré a couple of times posts were published about the free Mikogo application for screen sharing, webinars and remote access. With Mikogo, you can display your desktop to up to 10 participants at a time.

In the comments, one could observe that many lack Mikogo for Linux. Good news for them: the latest version of Mikogo 4.5 has also been released under Linux .

If someone no longer remembers Mikogo, then this is a multifunctional, now cross-platform, free application that allows you to show your screen, carry out online meetings, as well as remote support sessions on Linux, Windows and Mac.

With Mikogo, you can show the screen to many participants, switch the speaker, i.e. transfer the right to control your computer, record, and then play back meetings, chat, transfer data up to 200 MB, configure quality and speed parameters, choose which applications to leave open and which to “hide” during a screen demonstration session and much more.

Importantly, Mikogo has a Russian interface, which makes it more accessible for the Russian-speaking population. Also in the new version of Mikogo, you can plan meetings in order to get a unique code that is necessary for joining in advance and distribute it to all participants in the meeting. Well, cross-platform - now you can start a session on your platform and invite participants to join it from other platforms.
