Startup Chirpify allows you to buy goods via Twitter

The microblogging service Twitter is very popular not only among users who just communicate, but also among brands, many large and small companies have registered in the service. And of course, the multimillion-dollar crowd of potential buyers haunts none of the brands. Until now, the service has served only as a PR tool. But now, with the advent of the startup Chirpify, here you can buy all kinds of goods and services. True, both the seller and the buyer need to work with Chirpify.

This startup has joined forces with PayPal to provide buyers and sellers the opportunity to conduct transactions via Twitter. For example, you wanted to buy a thing (a gadget, clothes, or something else). Just type in something like “@favoritebrand Buy” and you can already make a purchase. However, as mentioned above, this requires that both the seller and the buyer are connected to the Chirpify system.

In addition to shopping, you can simply give money, or just like that, or on credit. A friend needs $ 30 - you can send a message directly to Twitter. Now, as far as you can understand, not many brands work with the service. In fact, at the moment, only the PowerBar brand is working with Chirpify. But this week, the startup management hopes to hold fruitful negotiations with representatives of other companies. If everything goes smoothly, many other companies will join the service.

Now the service is more likely in the testing phase, and according to the test results, current Chirpify partners will leave feedback. If the reviews are good, then the service will definitely have new customers and partners. Well, if it’s bad, then it’s clear what will happen. I wonder if one of the domestic developers will create something similar to Chirpify, “tied” to Poison or Webmoney?
