Apple presented Pegatron with an ultimatum - either it stops the Zenbook for ASUS, or loses the client in the face of Apple.
Zenbook, a direct competitor to the MacBook Air, appeared last year and became one of the first representatives of the ultrabook family , the ultra-thin class of lightweight laptops. Pegatron will probably agree with Apple’s demand and stop Zenbook production by the end of March. In this case, ASUS will transfer production to Compal and Wistron.
