Acer is going to release a "cloud" smartphone

Acer has released so far not many models of mobile phones and smartphones. Her new project may make smartphones from Acer recognizable and popular. So, the other day the corporation announced the release of a new smartphone, called Acer CloudMobile, which will be “sharpened” for a cloud service from the same company. The service is called Acer Cloud, there is nothing unexpected. The presentation of the device and service will be held at the 2012 Mobile World Congress.

The exhibition will be held on February 27 this year, so there will be something to see. In addition to binding to the cloud, the smartphone will work on the basis of Android 4.1 OS, as far as you can understand, this is the first mobile device that will use this version of the mobile operating system. As for the characteristics of the device, here we have a processor with a frequency of 1.5 gigahertz and a display with a diagonal of 4.3 inches. In addition to the usual communication modules, the developers also integrated support for HSPA + and 3G.

There is practically no information about the cloud service from Acer. At the moment, it is only known that this service will allow the client of the company, i.e. a user of one of the Acer devices, store their files in the cloud, access to the data can be obtained from both a PC and a mobile device. At first, Acer Cloud will only work in North America and China, and then in other countries.

In general, the development is quite interesting, but here the mobile device itself is more interesting, rather than a cloud service. Nevertheless, in conjunction a very interesting product can turn out to be popular.
