According to the latest data, the daily number of views of videos on YouTube has reached 3 billion. Outstanding videos have their own equally outstanding channels. And there are more and more such channels! The platform is constantly evolving, and we want to simplify the search and bookmarking of videos as much as possible.
Today we present several innovations at once. They relate to the main page, the design of the channels and the site itself. These changes will make you feel even more comfortable on YouTube.
1. New front page interface
The YouTube homepage is your guide to the world of entertainment. We've simplified the channel search and subscription system to make it easier for you to find the very best. Now you can create your own, customizable feed of channels you are interested in on the left side of the main page. Create a new account or log into an existing one, and browse the recommended channels and adjust the location of the video on the home page for yourself. You can also integrate your YouTube account with Google+ and Facebook and find out what videos your friends are sharing. The new feed on the main page that we launched earlier this year is now in the middle of the screen. Switching between feeds is simple - just click on other channels on the left side of the screen.

2. YouTube channels have become simpler, and personalization features more interesting.
After we simplified the process of searching and organizing your favorite channels on the main page, it would be wrong not to pay attention to the interface of the channels themselves. We updated it. First of all, the search for the videos you need has become easier and more understandable. Different users post videos in different ways - someone uploads one video a week, and someone has thousands of them. We have created new templates for channels, convenient both for the owners of the channels themselves and for users viewing them.

3. New design
Specially for launching the updated main page and channel design, we have prepared fresh color schemes for the entire site. In July, we introduced the Cosmic Panda experimental design. Your feedback helped us improve it - now it has become easier and cleaner: a smooth gray background, enlarged preview icons for clips and a more streamlined window shape of the player itself.
