The MUK Training Center, an authorized distributor of Brocade, is the first in Ukraine to open an entry for a course dedicated to the switches of this manufacturer. Training “HK910S - Brocade / HP B-Series Switch Administration (BCFA)” is based on Brocade's international partnership with HP. The proposed curriculum will provide students with an understanding of the basics of FiberChannel technology, the day-to-day management of the Brocade SAN Switch 300/5000/7000/8000 FC family of switches (both part of individual blade systems and individual ones), covering all the basic concepts and technologies used in them. It is especially important that students gain practical experience in solving problems that arise during the operation of an enterprise-class SAN.
Among the interested parties are expected:
• System engineers implementing, configuring, administering and providing technical support to users of storage networks;
• Advanced storage network users wishing to gain knowledge in the installation, configuration, and support of Brocade switches.
It is recommended that course participants have at least 6 months of practical experience in the field of SANs.
HP training programs have traditionally included courses at allied companies. Brocade training has been delivered to HP training center programs since September this year.
Brocade is one of the most influential SAN products on the market. The BCFA certificate, which can be obtained after successfully passing the exam at the Independent Testing Center, is the first step for professional certification by Brocade. BCFA holders will be able to take an even higher level Brocade course in the next quarter, leading to Brocade Certified Fabric Professional (BCFP) certification. The owners of BSFP in the last 3 years according to Certification Magazine have been at the top of the list of the highest paid IT professionals.
The start of the group is scheduled for November 9, to study for 2 days.
