How to become a wizard (part 3). Letter from hogwarts
And again the sequel about our little world of magic !
In quest building entourage plays a key role. Initially, we gave this moment a minimum of attention, which was a big mistake.
At first, our premises looked more like an office than Hogwarts (window blinds, monotonous yellow walls, sockets / switches, linoleum on the floor, office lighting and interior doors). Leave everything in this form is simply unacceptable! There can be no immersion in such conditions!
Want to see how to make a real Hogwarts out of the office - welcome under the cut!

So, we started the action:
The hallway was also given great attention, because at the sight of the entrance hall, visitors form the first impression of the quest and, moreover, it turned out to be the best place for visitors' photos in our conditions. Therefore, we designed the entrance hall in the form of a train station (suitcases and brick luggage are painted on the walls), the view of which is closely intertwined with the entrance to the playing area - platform 93⁄4.

The window space was transformed into a soft zone. So we killed two birds with one stone: we used the scarce hall space to the maximum and made a cozy place.
Separately, I want to talk about our gift certificates, which we were simply obliged to do in the form of a letter from Hogwarts !
For genuine originality, a real letter from Hogwarts was taken as a basis and almost literally translated into Russian.

But that is not all! The wax seal that we put on each letter adds originality and authenticity:

In addition, certificates were personal. Instead of “Harry Potter” or “Hermione Granger” we printed the names of those lucky ones to whom the letter was intended!
I will definitely do the final and even more interesting part about our most insane ideas, which for various reasons could not be implemented and about the whole trash that accompanied us throughout the construction phase :)
Maybe I will try in video format to try to convey all those emotions which we experienced.

Game Zone
- Floor. Initially, they wanted to lay a carpet, but when they looked under the linoleum and saw a beautiful wooden floor, the decision was made instantly! 3 layers of lacquer did their job:

Beauty! - Walls. For about $ 100 (a little more than $ 10 / day on the artist + paint), we got awesome walls and a table. Blinds were replaced with very beautiful curtains.

That is really a transformation, isn't it? - Ceiling. Office lamps were closed with a white cloth, and the Nimbus 2000 , which is chasing a snitch, was hung from the ceiling (the photo was taken in the process).

A map of the Marauders was also suspended from the ceiling , but its photo, alas, was not preserved. - All sockets and switches were removed, and traces of them are hidden.
Separately, I want to note a lamp that stands on one of the shelves:
This is a common Soviet kerosene lamp, in which a light bulb was mounted from a Soviet lamp. It looks very impressive, because the full effect of real dynamic flame burning is created.
Entrance hall
The hallway was also given great attention, because at the sight of the entrance hall, visitors form the first impression of the quest and, moreover, it turned out to be the best place for visitors' photos in our conditions. We made such cool photos for our visitors:

The window space was transformed into a soft zone. So we killed two birds with one stone: we used the scarce hall space to the maximum and made a cozy place.
