On July 9, the international competition for programming Django Dash starts , in which a team of 3 people in 48 hours is to create a web application on Django.
Last year, we already participated in Django Dash and took 21st place . The created project “ Voices in the Head ” is an online radio in which user-selected tracks are broadcast not only to listeners, but also to a specially trained person whose happy face is drawn online on the main page of the site.
Unfortunately, the first pancake came out lumpy due to the complex external dependencies of the Video streamer service, VLC audio streamer and the person in the headphones. And, frankly, the idea itself did not cause delight among users. But we got an interesting experience, and the competition remained excellentmemories .
A year later ( nonstop , damnerd and Glyuck ) we will get together again for 48 hours and fight for the victory at Django Dash 2011 . This time we need your help, % username .
We need ideas for a web service that three Django programmers can write in 48 hours.
The project will be judged by four criteria, we are interested in two:
Last year's winners: Django project deployment and error monitoring system .
