In the last hour after freezing a table with glasses, a lot of interesting things happened, for example, the University of Michigan moved from eleventh to second place, having solved two problems in the last hour. Serious passions were boiling during the announcement of the results, since until the last moment Michigan had every chance to stay in first place, but at the very end it turned out that Zhejiang University had solved as many problems, but bypassed them in time. Nevertheless, it seemed to me that such a successful performance by Michigan was a surprise for many, they were not among the favorites.
They also made a breakthrough in the last hour of Ural State University and Jagiellonian University - having solved two more problems, they were among the medalists.
Alas, China is leading the second year in a row. However, Russia has 5 out of 12 medals, including 1 gold, which cannot but rejoice. Congratulations to the team of St. Petersburg State University, Nizhny Novgorod State University, SSU, Moscow State University and, of course, USU!
