Ajenti released a new version. For the number 0.5-4.
For those who don’t know what they’re talking about - the author of this wonderful web interface for administering servers running the * nix family - already presented his creation on Habré. One , two .
Version 0.5-4 - refers to the test branch, on the official website in the download section - two repositories are described. However, I could not look into the stable branch (probably by hardex
just getting ready for the announcement, because yesterday I installed version 0.4 - to see how the project is developing and was surprised that no changes or updates have taken place in such a long time, but today I found out that the repository on GitHub no longer exists, only the source codes remained.)
I was very pleased with the ease of installing the new version - the quests for selecting the necessary packages are in the past, so that all the necessary extensions work and nothing falls. In the new version there is only one package "ajenti". It is proposed to install all the necessary extensions during the first launch - directly from the web interface, although, of course, you can either reinstall or remove the necessary after that.
The design is very nice. I wonder if the ajenti author himself created it? In the previous version it was just like that, although it was modestly noticed that hardex is a programmer, not a designer, nevertheless, many unfortunate designers, as they say, “have a rest”.
PSfound out that the announcement on Habré, from the author - can not be expected in the near future, we will support the author’s habractor if he likes his program.
