Online Guide - A Large and Free .pdf Internet Magazine

    Hello!

We are the creators of the "Internet Guide" - a large and free .pdf-magazine about the Internet and everything connected with it. We try to be both high-quality, convenient and interesting for everyone. However, see and read for yourself.

First, a few words about who we are and why we are needed.

The Internet is a big and complex thing, new events and technologies regularly appear in it, which we learn about from various sources (including from Habrahabr). Traditional journalistic media hopelessly lagged behind blogs and information portals in terms of both quality and speed of information. We decided to give the classic magazine format one more chance, radically changing it for the needs of the network.

We took a beautiful layout and methods of presenting information from the magazine (mainly magazines are still being bought for them). We carefully verify our materials and articles in typography and make-up beautifully - it’s nice to read the “Internet Guide” and not ashamed to share it with friends. Well, we also issue one full-fledged number per month - everything is “on paper”.

From collective blogs and portals, we took the theme and style of reporting. 90% of the magazine’s volume is devoted to Internet and network technologies (for example, in the first issue we talked about the “clouds”, and in the second we share our research on the crowdfunding market, collective financing of projects). The main topics of our magazine are familiar and understandable to every reader of the Habré - he sees them every day on the pages of his beloved collective blog. We are only trying to develop them deeper and bring to a pleasant degree of roasting. Of course, on the pages of the magazine there is room for interviews with a major and well-known guest (for example, Courage-Bambay or Slava Se) and for tips on using popular services, reviewing videos, music and games.

We took a distribution model from other online magazines - the Internet Guide is offered for free download in .pdf format (one issue of the magazine weighs approximately 30-40 megabytes - this is 120 pages of interesting fiction in excellent quality). We have ads in the magazine, but firstly we do not advertise gaskets, but really cool things (for example, Mozilla products), and secondly we have very few advertisements.

To date, we have released two large numbers, in the entire work on the third. In the meantime, it is being prepared, we are pleased to present to you what we have and will gladly listen to your comments, advice and criticism.

    Thanks!
