Globalscale Technologies announced a development kit based on the silent D2Plug minicomputer

A shelf of miniature low-power computers has arrived. In early May, Globalscale Technologies announced the release of the D2Plug development kit.
D2Plug is a logical continuation of the company's line of similar products: DreamPlug, Guruplug, SheevaPlug. The devices of this series are distinguished by low power consumption, relatively high performance (PC-like), small dimensions, low noise level (though not on all models), the presence of many different interfaces, and also used software (for example, based on Linux).

At habrahabr.ru, Globalscale Technologies products have been mentioned repeatedly.
As in the form of angry posts, for example here:
Guru Plug Server Plus: do not waste money and nerves on this ,
interesting teaser posts, “a la I want myself such a thing”, such as these:
GuruPlug Server - a new version of an ultra-compact Linux server the size of a charger , DreamPlug - a PC for lovers of miniature gadgets ,
or posts of neutral emotional coloring, such like these:
Linux server as a power supply ,
    GuruPlug Server Plus overview ,
Making a console cable for GuruPlug / GuruPlug Plus .

To summarize, I would like to express the opinion that despite the fact that the company acted hastily by launching a “raw” product on the market (I mean GuruPlug and problems with overheating), they undoubtedly have potential and we can expect competitive devices (especially in this is believed, given that there are almost no competitors).

D2Plug is positioned as a single software and hardware platform for computing, graphics processing and multimedia.
The specifications claimed support for displays with a resolution of up to 1080p (1920 x 1080). The board integrates high-speed network interfaces, input / output interfaces using USB interfaces. OSS (open source software) is used as software, - Ubuntu Linux 10.04 was originally flashed.
High reliability is achieved due to the absence of moving parts. The same equipment can be used both as a server and as a workstation.

The following are the specifications and photos of the D2Plug device.
