UAE never ceases to amaze. QR codes firmly enter the public life of residents and guests of the largest city in the United Arab Emirates.
Soon, all buildings in Dubai will receive their own QR-code, which will be encoded with all the information about the building and about the institutions that are inside.
In addition to general information about the building - its owners, purpose, area, layout, landlords and tenants - the code will provide instant notification of special services of the city about emergencies, such as a fire, indicating the exact location of the building.

As part of the Digital City municipality project, it is planned to implement the Zero Visits program - an ordinary resident of the city will not have to visit the municipality, and all housing operations, including registration of new tenants, payment for the municipality's services and other transactions will be made via mobile phone using QR codes.
All employees of the municipality will also receive their own QR code containing information about the employee, the agency’s website reports.
