Corridors Zfort Group
We invite you for a short tour of our office.
Today the program includes corridors.
History: Due to the growth of the team about two years ago, the Zfort Group moved to a new office. The rooms we got were not exactly five-star, but “walls are the main thing” - we consoled ourselves.
The working rooms were put in order quite quickly: new furniture, paintings, darts, etc. made them quite comfortable. But we did not pay attention to the corridor for more than a year. However, over time, it became clear that the office also begins with a “coat rack”, i.e. the corridor greatly affects mood in the morning when we arrive at work. Therefore, it was decided to make the corridor more positive.
We are not Google or Yandex, so we did not invite the interior design studios or start a global expensive repair. They assembled an initiative group, discussed several options and chose the most optimal one: without unnecessary luxury and unnecessary frills, to make the corridor simply cozy so that it would be nice to enter it in the morning or warm up in the afternoon.
What came of this? See below for a few photos.
Unfortunately, the photographs of “It was” were taken for working moments without the goal of creating a gallery of “It was-became”, so the camera angles are not exactly the same.
The beginning of the corridor, we enter. As you can see, they decided to make the corridor almost in corporate colors (white, blue, green). The walls were painted white (it was light yellow, the photographs on the left did not convey a hue). A soft green carpet was laid on the floor. They placed lamps on the floor, put tubs with trees and ottomans so that you could sit under a tree and chat on the phone. Painted with landscapes were hung on the walls : Let's go a little further and turn around: We go even further. Caution, the doors open! A little further. The tennis table was put into a separate room, where there was more space on the sides of the table, and less noise for those around. We installed a glass showcase where the cups obtained in sports competitions and our souvenir products are stored.

The gloomy fire door at the end of the corridor was sealed with a mural, and now there is a 2D pantry with jars of jam and other supplies. To the left of the door is a tea corner. Now, instead of a tennis table, we have wicker chairs and a table, standing under a palm tree on the veranda overlooking the sea. In the photo below, on the left, there is a piece of a tea corner and a poster with a buffet, which our designers painted in order to get into a stupor on Monday morning, trying to take a packet of coffee from the poster :) In the photo to the right is the Scrat squirrel, who lives on an olive tree. Let's open the first door that comes across and take a look at the offices, but only for a second - we will look at the rooms in more detail in our next tour of the Zfort Group office. That's all.

What is the purpose of this publication? By no means boasting, the office level is not the one to be the benchmark for others. I just wanted to share how we solved the "interior" problem. After completion of the repair, our employees and guests claim that it turned out “cozy” and “at home”. But is this not the most important thing for IT people? Indeed, many of us spend almost more time in the office than at home.
We hope that at least one of you who read this article will be inspired by ideas on how to improve your room, office or apartment. Or just get a small charge of the positive needed to work on current tasks.
Thank you for your time and attention!
