Tutumba: Our New Custom Review Service

This week we “officially” (which means that we are now telling everyone about this :)) launched a new project. Months of hard work of the team, dozens of realized and hundreds of unrealized ideas, millions of nerve cells that will never be restored - and now the beta version of Tutumba is ready. Now a few words about what happened.

Tutumba is a service of user reviews about regional companies (shops, restaurants, beauty salons, etc.). The insanely popular in the West Yelp.com became the inspiration for the project , which we certainly comprehended and creatively revised.

How can Tutumba be useful to users? Here you can find and choose the best fitness club, cafe or car service in the desired area. Therefore, an important component of the project is a search with convenient filtering by many parameters. In any category, you can filter the results by city district, distance from the metro (in Moscow and St. Petersburg), company rating, services provided and business characteristics. Filtering occurs instantly, without reloading the page.

Well, after the user has chosen the right company and used its services, you can return to Tutumba and do the main thing - leave your review. Since registration is the most annoying on such projects, and no one believes anonymous reviews, we decided to make a quick authorization through all the popular services.

Those who write often receive interesting and useful virtual rewards. And in January we plan to hold an action for reviewers with very real rewards.

The monetization of the project is related to the provision of premium services to regional business owners. Tutumba may become for them another platform for communication with consumers. Access to the account and basic functionality is provided free of charge, and we are now working hard on additional functionality.

As it should be at the beta testing stage, now every day bugs are fixed, improvements are made and the latest improvements are made. We ask for constructive criticism from the habrasociety community :)
