New XBox 360 250GB (Slim / S) Hacked Successfully

Just 2 months after its release, the new XBox 360 Slim was successfully hacked. The hacking method remains the same - to launch pirated games, a modified firmware of the console’s DVD drive is used.

The authors of the DRM bypass technique belong to Team Xecuter in partnership with Team Jungle and commodore4eva - they are almost the same people who circumvented the original defense of the first Xbox 360 in 2006. Team Xecuter announced a successful hack on their forum , and a bit later this news in their Team Jungle has also posted a twitter account . The release of a public version of the firmware is expected soon.
