Habr: democracy or tyranny

At first glance, habrahabr is like a place where visitors decide something. It seems logical that if everyone votes in favor or against publication, then interesting publications will go up. There is only one caveat - interest is evaluated by the crowd, but someone always controls the crowd :)

For example, I wrote an article, they brutally bombarded it, and then it completely disappeared, with all the comments, it turned out that someone put it in draft mode, and in Karma threw me minuses, so that I could not make it public. Similar objectionable publications will be handled in a similar way. This is how public opinion is formed unobtrusively: “don’t think about it, don’t think, simply because you don’t know what it is.”

The conclusion follows from here - if you feel good and comfortable, then you are like everyone else, you arrange the system, you understand the rules of the game and do not back down from them. It looks like a real state - take a crowd of people, give them the opportunity to communicate and throw them a toy while they have fun playing with it (pseudo-democracy in the habra, pseudo-democracy in the state, war, religion), the state will exist and feed at the expense of its inhabitants. The elite will skim the cream, most will play democracy (did they go to the polls?), And, of course, there will be a certain fraction of inglorious people who fell for their truth, which did not please the state. This is not bad and not good, it just is.

Nobody needs real fucking democracy - neither the tops nor the lower classes.
