Second Open Technology Forum Held
Today, April 18, the second Forum of Open Technologies was held in Yekaterinburg. For me it is something new and interesting. I would like to share with the rest of the habrasociety what we were told and shown on this forum today. So, the forum itself was held at USTU-UPI.
There were many interesting people whom I would like to introduce you and briefly tell you what they were talking about. There are photos and traffic.
I apologize in advance for the quality of the photos.
So, let's begin:
While all the organizers were going to include a very interesting film about Linux, here is a shot from it.

I think the organizers themselves are worth mentioning, thank them very much for this event
Here are their beautiful flags in the next photo

Honestly, I did not expect much excitement, but nevertheless the people came up decently, in my opinion

Valentin Sinitsyn, who is the host of the event, he is the editor-in-chief of the Russian version of the LinuxFormat magazine, opened the forum.

He mainly talked about Linux routers on board. As ready-made solutions suggested:
The second speaker was Mikhail Zhurukhin (forgive me if I made a mistake with my surname)

I spoke a lot and interestingly about Mandriva Linux 2010. About the huge savings of some companies that decided to switch to Mandriva, about flash drives with it.
Regarding Mandriva, there were a lot of technical issues that almost flowed into controversy. Alexander Kazantsev answered most of the questions.

The third speaker was Denis Khlebnikov. He told us about a heavy share of 1C :) He talked about what databases are used in 1C, the history of development and little mention of the differences in the versions of 1C

Behind him appeared a guest from Moscow Dmitry screws, graduate student ICT MGIEM

presented several slides of his presentation

Well, the last speaker was Grigory Shatrov. He talked about GPL, BSD and dual licensing licenses.

Well, that's all. Thanks to all those who came and those who organized.
