Limitations of minus karma during the day

We all know how hard karma is earned in most cases. Also, we are all human and can blurt out something wrong. Such inappropriate commentary can lead to a very strong negative. So, you can’t say that a person does not deserve to be lowered in this case, but the habraeffect is such a habraeffect, and in the worst cases you can immediately fly into minus even from a fairly strong plus.

The idea is to limit the decrease in karma of each user per day to a certain value. There are already several options.

• For karma greater than 5 per day, you can lose no more than 80% of karma. This is due to the fact that the restriction of minus should not introduce “permissiveness” in the ranks of people with very great karma. For example, to avoid the situation of an “advanced troll,” which sways, and then the troll to the fullest.
• For karma less than 5 per day, you can lose no more than 10 points of karma. As far as I understand, there is no ranking with negative karma, respectively, and 10 points is enough to instantly cool a person who deserves it.

As you can see, in the first case, a “warning shot” will work, and the next day, when a person has cooled emotions, he will analyze the situation, and if karma is expensive, then he will behave prudently. Moreover, the loss of 80% is from +100 to +20, which is quite noticeable.

In the second case, the troll trap is triggered, but if the trip is false, then there is still a chance to get out of the minus. If it’s not false, then repeated minuses are still inevitable and the question of the day will not change the situation much.
