Panasonic GF1 and Macro

I’ve been driving a Panasonic GF1 micro 4/3 camera (“mirrorless mirror”) for quite some time and am extremely pleased with it. It shoots perfectly, small, light, moderately comfortable to operate, and it looks awesome. This is not the first "micra" that I am testing, but when compared with the Olympus PEN P-E1 and Panasonic GH1, it is the best. (I did not see the second PEN, but really want to).

In the "domestic" conditions, the GH1 proved to be excellent, and I decided to give it a more serious test - a test with subject (well, or macro) shooting. I must say right away that in the subject I am a layman, but a layman practicing: you often have to photograph equipment for reviews on NOMOBILE.ru. The hand is full. In addition, there is quite serious equipment in my photo locker: an excellent subject table, three powerful pulsed sources and a good Canon lens (Canon EF 100 mm f / 2.8 Macro USM ).

Since, along with other lenses, I also got a macro lens along with GH1 - it was a sin not to capture this couple for shooting.

The Prolinca 40203 infrared transmitter sat on the “hot shoe” of the camera, literally, like a native. The only time in manual mode, shutter speeds shorter than 1/160 could not be set. Well, okay, it doesn’t matter.

The macro lens that I used is not simple, but almost golden. Firstly, this is LEICA, designed specifically for Micro 4/3, secondly, it is not for sale yet (and when it will be sold - and whether it will be at all - is unknown), and thirdly, where it is sold it costs bad money. (And he is not only macro, but, as the autopsy showed, is a good portrait portrait). In short, this is a serious thing, Panasonic LEICA DG MACRO-ELMARIT 45mm f / 2.8 ASPH (it delivered even to the stern dudes from DPReview ).

The lens focuses from 15 centimeters, but for this you need to move the lever on the body from the "Limit" position to the "Full" position.

Moved, the stabilizer turned on, clamped the hole at 22, set the shutter speed to 1/160, and ISO - 100. Go!

The first from the arm came a figure from Kinder surprise. For the sake of scale, I photographed it next to two one-ruble coins:

Not bad. And let's take a closer look ...

    What beauty.

I have long wanted to photograph this broken phone ( this video sheds light on the circumstances of its appearance in our editorial office ).

Closer? It is possible and closer.

What else is hanging out at hand. Oh - the joystick from the Xbox 360. What is not a subject for shooting?

    And now - add artistry.

What am I all on white and on a white background. On black - prettier.

And here - for comparison: the little man from the kinder surprise, coins, the same light and the same settings, but instead of the Panasonic GF1 and LEICA DG MACRO-ELMARIT 45mm f / 2.8 - Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III with EF 100 mm f / 2.8 Macro.

    I think it's funny.

Of course, cards can be made worse by ammunition in two, or even two and a half times cheaper than Panasonic GH1 with such a lens. So this post, rather, is an illustration of the capabilities of the Micro 4/3 system. Decent opportunities, it must be said.

UPD Thanks for the karma. Moved to DSLR.
