Lenovo Skylight: a lightweight smartbook based on Qualcomm Snapdragon

Lenovo has announced Skylight - a smartbook based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon platform with 1 GHz. According to the manufacturer, this is the industry's first ARM smartbook based on the Snapdragon chipset. This is a model with a 10.1-inch display, enclosed in an original case with rounded corners. The device is very light: its weight is only 900 grams.
Lenovo Skylight has 20 GB of flash memory for storing files. In addition, the device supports wireless standards Wi-Fi and 3G, in the United States it can be purchased with a contract operator AT & T. The smartphone is also equipped with a 1.3 megapixel camera, two USB ports and supports miniSD memory cards. Lenovo Skylight runs on the Linux operating system and widget-based interface. 18 widgets are already preinstalled on the device, they provide quick access to services such as Gmail, Facebook and so on. Smartbook, among other things, has a long battery life - up to 10 hours from a single battery charge. It will start selling in the US in April this year and will cost $ 499 without a contract.
