They want to expand the EB-5 visa to start-up founders

New information on the visa class has appeared specifically for the creators of IT startups .

Lobbied by venture capital circles, the idea received real support and a concrete proposal for implementation. Colorado Congressman Jerad Polis proposes extending the validity of an EB-5 visa to individuals who have received $ 250,000 in US venture capital investments or $ 100,000 from angel investors and are able to show the opportunity to create 5 jobs or $ 1 million in revenue.

Not that everyone is waiting for these visas; rather, it's just good news. In essence, this will facilitate the relocation of the teams that received the investment. It is also worth recalling that half of Silicon Valley IT startups are founded by immigrants.
