Dock-panel for Linux

Some time I worked in a company that wrote software for IPhone, Of course we had all the poppies. During this time I managed to get used to the Mack Dock panel. I wanted to put myself the same one, only on Linux. After a short search I found Cairo-Dock, which managed to replace me the makovsky panel.
All the actions described below are performed for Ubuntu (Debian), but they will also work safely under other distros.
We need to install the following packages:
    cairo-dock
    cairo-dock-data
    cairo-dock-core
    cairo-dock-plug-ins
    cairo-dock-plug-ins-data

in Ubuntu (Debian) is done like this
    sudo aptitude install cairo-dock
    sudo aptitude install cairo-dock-core

now launch the panel, for this in the cairo-dock & terminal
If you see a black rectangle do not worry, in order to remove it just turn on compiz.
To configure the panel, right-click on it, Cairo-Dock -> Settings
. The program has very good built-in help, I found answers to all my questions there.
    here are some of them:
    question: the
panel is not visible due to the standard panel of the gnome, how to make it visible?
    solution:
launch Cairo-Dock with the --keep-above option
    question:
How to make the panel not overlap windows?
    solution:
go to settings then Behavior -> Extras. Opportunities and cock the flag at the point to reserve a place under the panel.
That's how it all looked at the end
    image
    . That's it.

PS I ask you not to strictly judge the first post on the hub
