Apple protects its logo
Australian supermarket chain Woolworths may receive a lawsuit from Apple for the similarity of its new logo, which is presented in the form of the letter W stylized as a green apple.

Woolworths registered a new logo in August 2008.
A request for similarity of logos was sent to the Australian Department of Intellectual Property (IP Australia), which should recognize the similarity of logos or refute. If the answer is yes, Apple will have the right to sue.
