Apple's flagship tablet, the iPad Pro, is expected to receive an update in 2017 — the company is expected to launch it on the eve of its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in San Jose in June. This will be the first update for the tablet since 2015.

Although Apple hid the next-generation tablet, rumors gave us some insight into what the tablet could be.

Here are the seven expected features of the upcoming tablet:

Touch Bar : Apple is expected to install the OLED display on a range of products, including the iPhone, iPad and Mac.

One of the most distinctive features of the MacBook Pro 2016 - Touch Bar - is expected to come on all iPads, starting with iPad Pro 2. For the uninitiated, the Touch Bar acts as a touch strip that can be used as a series of virtual keys, application shortcuts, emoticons and much more, incl. customizable This feature on the iPad Pro 2 can give users easy access to many features and make updating social networks from a tablet much easier.

Apple Pencil 2 : iPad 2 Pro can get a new version of the stylus. The new stylus is expected to have a magnetic stripe that will allow users to attach the stylus to the tablet and even charge from it.

A10X chipset, improved memory: iPad Pro 2, presumably, will receive a new A10X chipset - improved compared to the A10 installed in the previous version of the tablet. According to the leaked test results (back in October 2016), the A10X scored 4236 points in the single-core and 6588 points in the multi-core Geekbench tests. For comparison, the A10 scored 3490 and 5580, respectively. In addition to this, the device can get 4 or even 6 GB of RAM and 64, 128 and 256 GB variants of the built-in memory.

12 megapixel main cameraiPad Pro 2 is expected to get a 12 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera, this will be a big upgrade compared to the 8 megapixel rear camera and the 1.2 megapixel front camera of the previous iteration of the tablet. The company can also include Live Photos features and the ability to record video in 4K resolution.

True Tone display : Apple can give the 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2 a display of True Tone, a function that automatically adjusts the color and brightness of the tablet, adjusting to the environmental conditions. Currently available only on a 9.7-inch version of the current generation of iPad Pro.

3.5mm audio jack : Apple may have forever abandoned the 3.5mm audio jack on the iPhone, but is expected to save it on iPad Pro 2.

iOS 10.3: The new tablet will probably either ship with iOS 10.3 at the time of its launch, or it will receive it later as soon as the operating system is presented at WWDC 2017.

The device is expected to be launched either in March or in April at a separate event before WWDC . It is expected that the tablet will cost the same as the previous version - 12.9-inch model - $ 799 and 9.7-inch model - $ 599.
