Synaptic ClearPad 3000 - 10-finger touchscreen display
Today, Synaptics touchscreens are used in more than 550 million devices worldwide. Among them are the Samsug YP-P2 player, Sony Vaio L laptop, Dell monitors, Logitech remotes, NTT Docomo phones and many others.
The other day, the Americans showed their new development: the ClearPad 3000 touchscreen. Actually, according to the logic of previous generations, the new product should be called ClearPad 10000. The fact is that the first generation - ClearPad 1000 supported one-finger click, ClearPad 2000 - two, but ClearPad 3000 allows you to click on the screen immediately with ten fingers.
The display can distinguish one finger from the other in shape and size and, in addition, is characterized by an enviably low power consumption. According to the developer, the use of ClearPad 3000 technology even in an 8-inch screen allows you to work comfortably with the ten-finger method without fear for the battery to run out after fifteen minutes.
Um, there is a suspicion that in the near future we are waiting for a revolution in the field of entertainment.
