About the Bing Search Engine or Why Microsoft Search Pipe
Today I wanted to download SP2 for Vista on the download center in the Microsoft Download Center.
I entered the most stupid query into the search box “Vista sp2”.
The result can be seen in the screenshot below: Among the 37 results, NONE are needed. In my opinion, after this you need to admit that all the billions that Microsoft swelled into the search were wasted, and the development department must either be dispersed or reprofiled. If Microsoft in the 2009th year is not able to optimize the search on its own site where it is fully accessible with meta-information, then it has nothing to do on the “wild” Internet where often incomplete information prevails. By the way, the stupidity of the native search on msdn has long forced to switch to the search for a leader.
