Google strengthens anti-phishing measures

In the light of recent events related to fraud on behalf of well-known companies (Google has also suffered ), a blog entry appeared on the GMail developers blog about connecting a new feature - the anti-phishing filter. You can activate this setting in the Labs tab in your email account.

Currently, incoming emails from eBay and PayPal services will be checked for matching the correct addresses in the “From” line.

These letters received from these recipients will be marked with a special icon in the form of a key. Messages that have not passed verification will be screened out and will not even get into the Spam folder in Gmail. In the future, developers plan to connect several more addresses of large services (the advantage is financial, since most phishing messages fall into this sector).
