Samsung introduced new devices at IFA 2013

Today in Berlin at the international exhibition IFA 2013, at which many manufacturers show their latest products and hotly anticipated devices. Samsung did not pass this event and introduced interesting devices.

▌GALAXY GEAR

Rumors about the “smart” watches from Samsung have been around for a long time. Various screenshots of the device appeared, but now the characteristics and features are known. So, Samsung GALAXY Gear - that's what a miracle watch is called. The connection is via Bluetooth 4.0 LE protocol, the device is able to notify the user of incoming messages, calls, mail and various reminders. On the screen you can see the name of the caller, drop the call or read a message. If more detailed information is required, then you will need to unlock the smartphone and read it directly on it. The device has a 1.9-megapixel camera with a BSI sensor and autofocus, record 10-second clips in 720p quality.

▌GALAXY NOTE 3

Another long-awaited shovel novelty is the Galaxy Note 3. Galaxy Note III demonstrates a display with a slightly larger diagonal of 5.7 inches compared to its predecessor to replace 5.5, but the resolution also increased, switching to FullHD, the matrix type remained unchanged (Super AMOLED). The dimensions are smaller, the device is more compact than its predecessor: 151.2x79.1x8.25 mm and 168 g versus 151.1x80.5x9.4 mm and 182.5 g (GALAXY Note II). But the battery capacity has increased from 3100 to 3200 mAh. On sale will be black and white versions of GALAXY Note 3, as well as a pink version.

The smartphone will be available in LTE and 3G-versions. LTE version will receive a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor (MSM8974) with a clock frequency of 2.3 GHz and Adreno 330 graphics, version 3G - the latest eight-core Samsung Exynos Octa 5420 chip (four cores with a frequency of 1.9 GHz, four with 1.3 GHz ) and the graphics of the ARM Mali-T628 MP6. One of the innovations was the use of 3 GB of RAM. The minimum amount of internal memory has grown from the usual to 32 GB, there is an option with a 64 GB drive. There is the possibility of using memory cards (up to 64 GB).
