Happy Birthday, PHP!
In 1994, Rasmus Lerdorf created a set of Perl / CGI scripts to process html file templates for his online resume. But when Perl's functionality and speed ceased to be enough, Rasmus rewrote the interpreter in C, calling it PHP / FI (Personal Home Page / Forms Interpreter).
June 8, 1995, 14 years ago, PHP / FI 2.0 was released - the first public release.
In general, congratulations, PHP! Less glitches, more secrecy and OOP in the minds of beginners!
