Remote Desktop (RDP) in Windows 7
The Remote Desktop Client in Windows 7 has received new features and enhancements. The most interesting is the enhancement of support for desktop PCs, and full support for the effect of Aero Glass.
(IP for example is shown)
The following are the main innovations of the Remote Desktop Client in Windows 7
* Support for Windows Aero 7
* Support for Direct 2D and Direct 3D 10.1 applications
* Support for multiple monitors
* Improved Remote Desktop Client kernel
* Support for multimedia accessories
* Support for Media Foundation
* Support for DirectShow
* Support for low latency audio playback
* Support for bi-directional audio
To watch a demo (recorded during the MVP 2009 Summit) of all functions, including support for multiple monitors, support for DirectX 2D ( Brian Madden TV episode (35 minutes) ).
I tested the remote desktop client in the latest Windows 7 build 7201 and tested several things. The Remote Desktop Client has been significantly improved over previous versions.
Firstly, a connection certificate is now being issued:
Flip 3D: The
prots is not loaded at all, the feeling that you are practically working for RAdmin
Another thing that pleased me. I have a resolution of 1280x1024 at home, 1280x800 at home, the client scaled to my resolution, and there was no need to jerk up or down to scroll the remote desktop, as it was in the previous version.
For the test, I connected the second monitor to the laptop with a resolution of 1280x1024, when connected to the remote desktop, it switched (no need to drag and drop) to the second monitor, with the same remote resolution monitor
