Nikon D5000 announced
The camera, which all Nikon drivers were waiting for, was announced on schedule - today the D5000 officially begins to arrive in stores around the world.
Nikon D5000, a serious rival to the recently shown Canon Rebel T1i , has almost everything an ambition photographer might need: a new 2.7-inch swivel LCD (with Live View), a 12.3-megapixel DX CMOS sensor, maximum value ISO - 3200, the ability to shoot up to 4 frames / sec and record HD video at 720 / 24p.
The kit also includes: an 11-point AF system, three-dimensional focus tracking and 19 different automatic modes. But the most exciting thing is the price, in the USA the model will cost $ 849 with a whale zoom (18-55mm f / 3.5-5.6G), only the “body” - $ 729. This is slightly less than the price of the Rebel T1i, which shoots HD video at 1080p, but does not have a cunning display.
