New layers on Google Maps

After months of hard work, we are pleased to announce the launch of a layer with public transport routes in Moscow and St. Petersburg ! This layer is added to already launched photos, videos and Wikipedia sights hidden under the “More ...” button. In addition, now when you click on public transport stops, the routes passing through the stop will be highlighted .
Another layer launched this week allows you to see on the map the location of the entire set of objects that meet the user's request. For example, you can see where the theaters in St. Petersburg are located - they will be marked with red dots.
We know that so far there are no electric trains and minibuses on the Maps and that there are still many cities in Russia with an extensive public transport network. All these are opportunities for further improvements, and we will work on this and much more - stay tuned!
