Electronic reader for the blind

Not everyone knows, but in fact, blind people on average read twice as much as ordinary people. Meanwhile, learning to read Braille is not a trivial task. So much so that no more than 12% of the total number of blind people read well with their hands. Braille training requires good teachers. Maybe that's why in Russia over 15 years the number of blind people with Braille knowledge has decreased by 5 times. Sound books are one of the possible solutions to the problem, but not the only one.

Designer Hung Jin Lim came up withA simple and efficient device called Braille Translator. The concept consists of two halves: a glove with a built-in scanner and a text-to-voice converter and a Bluetooth headset. According to the developer, to a blind person, in order to read a book, it is enough to simply slide a finger along the lines.

I note that the Hung Jin Lim idea does not represent anything super complicated in terms of implementation. All elements have already been worked out in general.
