Monitor calibration without hardware calibrator

No color areas should be visible in this picture. The more clearly you see them, the farther the color reproduction of your monitor from normal. If you want to fix this, then this note is for you.

Models with TN-matrices reign on the monitor market now, which can be calibrated with a simple tilt of the head. But even on such monitors, not to mention * VA / IPS, you can achieve tolerant color reproduction without using hardware calibrators. In the same way, you can check the gamma curves of the monitor upon purchase.

The essence of the method is to use the ColorLineTest program , also known as CLTest. It will take you about 30 seconds to check the gamma curves. In 5-10 minutes, you can achieve acceptable color reproduction. Detailed instructions are in the archive with the program.
