What is its fundamental innovation?

You no longer need to subscribe to blogs / tags / authors and so on. UFO will do everything for you :) It closely monitors your actions (voting, adding to favorites, etc.) and compiles a list of personal recommendations. Actually, the term “personal recommendations” is not quite correct here. It is rather a "personal filter." Its main function is not to offer only the most interesting, but to weed out what you most likely will not be interested in. Here you can draw an analogy with a mail filter that hides spam, but does not offer "the most interesting letters." On the other hand, this analogy is not entirely true: posts in Habralent are ranked by presumed relevance.

Why is my Habralent empty?

Most likely you voted too little, did not add posts to favorites, and in general are not too active on Habré.

Why is there some bullshit in my Habralent?

There are three possible reasons:

1. You voted, but not much
2. You too often voted “ just like that ”, for example, at someone’s request like “hey, plusi topic!”
3. You vote in a special way . For example, you never fundamentally minus or plus.

Is it possible to improve the quality of recommendations?

Yes. For this it is necessary, for example, to vote more and more honestly . You can also click on the special “ do not recommend ” button in those posts in Habralent that you are not interested in.

What about RSS?

There is RSS, but the feed is slightly different from the usual results. It works on the principle of "better is less, but better." There is no restriction on the number of posts, but there is a more stringent restriction on relevance.

Mandatory. We will not only improve delivery algorithms, but also add functionality. In accordance with the intergalactic rules, each update of the Habralent will be reflected in its version number. Ultimately, we plan to make Habralent smarter than Anatoly Wasserman, stronger than Chuck Norris and, of course, faster than Vladimir Shahidzhanyan. This version will carry the number 3.14.
