AppleJack - Mac OS X Troubleshooting Utility

AppleJack is a great free troubleshooting application for your Mac OS X. It will be a great solution even if you cannot boot the system GUI or have a Mac OS X installation disc on hand.

It’s worth considering that AppleJack runs only in the mode Single User Mode.

To use AppleJack, restart the Mac in single-user mode, hold Command + S at startup, and then type applejack , applejack auto or applejack auto restart (restart the Mac automatically at the end of the process).
