At the request of shpankov : The
schedule for Opera Software’s Russian university tour, organized as part of the Opera Education Program, is almost complete - there are only a few days left before it starts. This is by far the largest event held by the Norwegian company in Russia: Opera representatives will visit seven cities and conduct seminars at ten universities.
The meeting in Perm will be held at PSTU on 10.11.08 from 15:00 to 18:00 in auditorium 402 of Building A (Complex).
The
topics of the seminars are as follows:
- Tomorrow’s web technologies
- Web standards as a guarantee of a better Internet
- Features of the development of new generation browsers
Participants in Opera Software seminars will be:
Charles McKathyNevil - head of the web standards department
Alexey Feldgendler - developer of Opera for desktops
Ilya Shpankov - development manager
Everyone is invited to the seminars, free admission.
Further, an informal meeting with Opera representatives will take place:
Date - November 10, 19-00
Place - Locos Gringos cafe, Komsomolsky prospect, 27.
